I'm Thankful For . . .

Toothbrushes! I LOVE to brush my teeth, it is the best thing ever!

Okay, I decided that since our camera "got broked" this week by our littlest angel :) and I won't have any new pictures to post in a little while, I would dedicate this month to things we are thankful for. Seems appropriate right! I know it will most likely get very boring to all of you, but will be a good way to fill the space until we get the camera fixed and it's always good to reflect on our blessings. So, for today (since we are all sick and I just left the playplace with both kids screaming) I am thankful for toothbrushes. They are always there when you need them, always make you feel better, always yeild the same results, come in lots of fun razzle dazzle colors, are cheap, and make me happy.

What are you thankful for?

First of all, I'm thankful for my camera. (Sorry, had to be said) But in truth, my parents couldn't afford to take pictures of all of the kids as often as they would have liked. Now, you can take 100's of pictures and cheaply edit thru the ones you like and capture all of those moments with your loved ones.

Days like today. I sat around in my jammies working on various projects and then a friend called and said she felt like lettuce wraps and didn't want to eat alone, so she picked some up from my favorite place and came over- with coke. That is so much to be thankful for: a lifestyle that allows me the choice to be somewhat lazy and sedentary for a day, jammies, coke, lettuce wraps, 2 kids napping, great friends who don't care that I stayed in jammies all day. What a great day!

i just have to say that on your blog roll, you have all of these "jen and ben" type links, and then....Terina. just by herself. makes me laugh.
i am thankfull for texas in october and november. i don't like texas, but right now the weather is great, almost like being at home, and i like it for now.
i am also thankful for cracker barrel because they have amazing thanksgiving dinners, and they are also cheap. because that is where we will be going. sad? nope, not from where i'm at. the last thing i want to do is make a turkey and everything else and have to clean it up. i would much rather pay someone else to do it, and then my fridge that i'll have to clean out very soon because we're moving won't be so full of food that i'll have to waste it. yay for cracker barrel!!

Okay Terina, I always think it's funny too, but then I can never remember what your husband's name is and I always forget to ask you!

I'm thankful for toothbrushes, too! And blogs to keep me from doing my chores, and my heater and the fact that I don't have to pay utilities (it's cold and snowy today) so I can crank it as high as I want! That's what I'm thankful for today. I may just sit in my jammies all day, too!

I am thankful for warm sunny weather in November. (and December, January, February, March, April, May,...you get what I mean.) And for visitors, especially family, anytime - anywhere. And turkey, or chicken or even canned chicken. And green vegetables of any variety, except for Samoan green beans. For cute grandchildren who make us smile even when they make their parents frown. Especially then. For email, blogs, and any contact with loved ones. FOR YOU

I'm also thankful for toothbrushes and your cute new background. I am also thankful for the shout out from Terina with the "Jen and Ben" comment.

Hey Lanie
It's nice to see/hear that you guys are doing well. What were the girls for halloween? Sorry to hear about your camera, I just bought one last week. I still need to kinda figure it out though. Let's see I'm thankful (what a great topic idea!!!)to have friends and family that care about me. Today at work I had to confirm a mothers (in La) worst fear, that her son passed away at our hospital (in SF) 3 weeks ago. I am also tahnkful that I live in SF, it maybe cold, but at least there is no snow, and freezing temps. Sorry for being so long winded. Take care.

kind of boring I know, but I have to say I am most thankful for family! Kev and I are so lucky to have such amazing family's to be of constant help and friends to us. I really don't know what we are going to do when we move away but I think it will be good for us. Worked for you and Justin right? Anyway that is what I am most thankful for and can't wait to see you guys for Thanksgiving!!

I like the thankful bit for November. Sorry about your camera. That is so not fun. I am also grateful for my toothbrush. And I'm thankful for good doctors. Where would we be without good doctors...

What a great idea! It's easier to say what your thankful for anyway then waiting to download pics! Well I'm thankful for a certain person (Jen Lowry) for showing me the blogger way and showing me how to make a blog look pretty!
