Words to Live By . . .

So I was flipping channels tonight and came across one of my all-time favorites. Karate Kid I. It just happened to be the part where Mr. Miyagi says one of my all-time favorite movie lines; "Man who catch fly with chopsticks, accomplish anything". I mean, seriously, how cool is Miyagi.

Lanie, remember when you had a crush on the Karate Kid - and had his posters hanging on your wall?

LOVE the Karate Kid! Rick gave it to me for Valentine's Day this year...now isn't that romance?? We like to watch it as a family. Ty is enthralled....

As for your last post, about the bad hair, etc...i think you sound pregnant...imagine that!

Yes mom, how could I forget the life-size poster of Ralph. I think I still kind of have a crush on him. Sorry Justin :)

Ahhh, karate kid. Memories. And your previous post is hilarious! Todd and I got a good laugh out of it. I wonder what Ryder would say about me if he were a bit older and more observant.

This post made me smile. It reminded me somehow of how cute you thought old french men are & how much you loved Elder Haight talk about Ruby. I love Mr. Miagee too. Our next door neighbor in Maryland was just like him.

I keep thinking of Karate Kid, because I'm trying to get Paul to help me paint instead of lift weights. He comes home from the gymn too sore... but just look at Mr. Miagee's way to teach strength training.

Wax on....wax off!!! Don't fall for The Next Karate Kid though--Hilary Swank is no Daniel-san!
